(Photoblog)
It is the rarest of moments that would make you cry out to God, THAAAAANK YOUUU, and make you appreciate every minute of it. This past March, I was blessed to have been given the chance to reunite with some friends. And it's no ordinary reunion. God loves me so much that he didn't settle for the usual get together. Instead, He staged it in Singapore - yaaaay! :)

Arrived in time (thanks Airphil Express) for dinner.
We took a (insert surreal-I-can't-belive-I'm-here-again-looks at Josh-no-this-ain't-real) cab ride to Clarke Quay
and ate at Harry's - our very first check in our vacation list. Here's a photo of my 400 pound burger and fries
(well, it's what it felt like when I was eating it). And btw, our waitress was a Filipina :) |
The best tourist spot in Serangoon. Haha. |
My first time on a double-decker bus and the 2nd item on my list! We always had the best seats :D |
Dropped by Orchard Road to take a few pictures. Here's his panoramic shot of the Ion. |
Josh brought me to Bugis for shopping. I died. I swear, I died. Hahaha.
We also had block ice cream for recess. 3rd and 4th items checked. I'm a happy bunny :D |
Dinner care of my high school friend, Briane!
We ate at Wee Nam Kee for Hainanese Chicken Rice and Cereal Prawns - double check again! |
The Koi Garden with giant fishes my goodness hahaha. Josh brought me here so we could rest our tired feet.
So tired and happy from shopping and dinner hihi :D |
The next day, we went to Vivo City. We ate at Secret Recipe and everything we ordered was good. I finished more than half this time. Ha.
Vivo City also has a nice deck where you'll have a view of the cable cars and everything Sentosa :) |
And then we headed to Sentosa via cable car - BIG check for me :D
The difference between one and two way was only 2 dollars so we purchased the round trip package.
The next time we'll go to Sentosa, we can just take the train :) |
I really wanted to go to Underwater World so we checked that, of course :) |
We ate a 5 dollar Magnum not knowing that it was already trending here in the Philippines. Haha. |
Josh also took me to see the dolphins for the first time.
He didn't want it at first because dolphins make him sad (hihi) but thanks for this treat :D |
We rode the Sky Tiger Tower or Tiger Sky Tower or Tower Sky Tiger (hahahaha)
to get a 360 degree view of Sentosa. It was also a good time for Josh to use his baby fisheye :) |
We took a bus and a long walk to Universal - check :D |
Walked around Universal to buy pasalubongs. Josh also introduced me to Garrett. The popcorn :)) |
Today, we tour the city. First time to eat at Hawkers (and yes, there were hawks hahaha), went there for brunch - check! |
At the MBS Skypark. I don't know if I can put a check big enough. But you get it. Haha.
It was sooo nice up there :) |
We took a cab from Esplanade and started walking from there.
While at the bridge, we took our tourist shots hahaha! |
Merlion :D I wasn't able to go near the first time I was in Singapore so yaaay for my check yet again :D |
And then we just walked around the city :) |
When I got home, I was wondering how far we walked that day, so I traced it on his panoramic shot from the Skypark.
Now I knoooooooooooooooow. We got ourselves pretty tired hahaha |
We ended our day with (insert favorite SG date place) Fish and Co dinner.
Yummy New York Fish & Chips and his seafood platter :D |
Brunch the next day was at the posh Hawkers haha (another check :D).
Lava Rock presents their food well and it tastes good too! It was also a good morning for soda. Yay :) |
Our last stop for this trip, the Rock Auditorium - check! I just can't leave Singapore without these books. |
The full panoramic Shot from MBS Skypark :D |
